Delete Your LocalJobz Account

LocalJobz respects your privacy and provides users with a way to request deletion of their accounts and associated personal information from the LocalJobz website and Android application.

1. How to Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your LocalJobz account, please send an email from your registered email address to:

Email Subject: LocalJobz Account Deletion Request

Please include the following information:

Your registered email address.
Your account type: Candidate or Recruiter.
A clear request to delete your account and associated personal information.

For security reasons, do not share your password, OTP or other sensitive authentication credentials.

2. Account Ownership Verification

Our privacy support team may verify account ownership before processing a deletion request. This helps prevent unauthorized deletion of user accounts.

3. What Information Will Be Deleted?

Following verification and approval of a valid account deletion request, LocalJobz will process the deletion of personal information associated with the account, as applicable. This may include:

Account and personal profile information.
Uploaded resumes and candidate documents.
Education, qualifications, skills and work experience.
Saved jobs and job preferences.
Job applications and associated recruitment information.
Recruiter or employer account information associated with the account, where applicable.
Other personal information no longer required for legitimate purposes.

4. Information That May Be Retained

Certain information may be retained where required or permitted under applicable law, including records necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security investigations, dispute resolution or other legitimate obligations.

Information previously shared with independent employers or recruiters may also be subject to their own data protection responsibilities.

5. What Happens After Submitting a Request?

Once your request is received, our support team will review it, verify ownership where necessary and process the request according to applicable requirements.

We may contact you if additional information is needed to verify your request. Where applicable, we will communicate the outcome of the deletion request through your registered email address.

6. Can I Request Deletion Without Accessing My Account?

Yes. Even if you cannot log in to LocalJobz or have uninstalled the Android application, you may submit an account deletion request by emailing privacy@localjobz.in.
